On March 26, 2026, the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest hosted a round table dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence and the motto of the year 2026: “Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of purposeful heavenly horses”. The forum was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania, the leadership and faculty of the university, as well as students from Turkmenistan and Central Asian countries.

In the course of the speeches, high praise was given to the transformations carried out in Turkmenistan during the years of sovereign development in the political, economic, and socio-humanitarian spheres.

Particular attention was focused on the significance of Turkmenistan's policy of permanent Neutrality.

Within the framework of the event, a presentation was held for the new book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, entitled “Neutrality of Turkmenistan - a bright path of peace and trust”. Participants noted the particular relevance of this work in the context of strengthening a culture of peace and mutual respect on the international stage.

Special emphasis was placed on the promotion of the national heritage of the Turkmen people. It was underlined that Ahal-Teke horses are not only a symbol of statehood but also a unique contribution of Turkmenistan to the treasury of global cultural values.
