As part of the creative competition “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry”, announced by the President of Turkmenistan in honor of the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence among figures of literature, culture and art, as well as amateur young performers, the regional stage of the television competition “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!” was held in the Mary velayat with great enthusiasm.

In the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, in our country, which is confidently and rapidly moving forward towards new heights of progress, large-scale work is being carried out to develop national culture and musical art. The annually held television competition “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!” plays an important role in identifying and supporting young talented performers.
The Mary velayat stage of the competition, whose aim is to widely popularize the rich and multifaceted musical heritage of the Turkmen people, as well as to provide an opportunity for amateur singers to demonstrate their professional skills, was held at the venue in front of the “Türkmeniň ak öýi” building. The area around the building was transformed and acquired a truly festive appearance. Ten young vocalists who had successfully passed the preliminary etrap and city qualifying rounds took part in the competition.

The audience, which included numerous admirers of musical art, cultural figures and masters of the arts, as well as residents and guests of the velayat center, warmly and enthusiastically welcomed each performance by the young singers. Melodies dedicated to the current happy era could be heard far and wide.
The song and musical compositions glorified the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the creative initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan, the glorious 35th anniversary of sacred independence, and peaceful life in their native land. The young vocalists performed both contemporary pop songs and folk songs.
The jury members evaluated the participants on the basis of their stage culture, repertoire and performing skills. Following the competition, the winners were: Uzukjemal Palvanova, an amateur soloist of the “Margiana” Palace of Culture in the city of Mary, and Myahri Akmyradova, an amateur soloist of the House of Culture named after the Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashi of the Mary Velayat State Drama Theatre. They were granted the right to participate in the state round of the television competition “Ýaňlan, Diýarym! – 2026”. On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the winners were presented with bouquets of flowers and valuable gifts.
