According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, on Thursday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Myatiev held a videoconference meeting with the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Gary Koren.
During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for interstate cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
Particular attention was paid to creating a mechanism for cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and the State of Israel in the "C5 + 1" format. The parties exchanged views on this issue and outlined their vision of aspects of interaction within this format.
The diplomats also discussed the possibilities of expanding scientific and educational contacts, cooperation in the field of medicine and healthcare.
It was underlined the importance of holding regular political consultations at the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as meetings of representatives of the relevant departments of the two countries to intensify bilateral dialogue in a wide range of areas.
