The delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hadjiev, takes part in the international meeting to promote peace talks between the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Taliban.

Participants in the meeting, including representatives of the UN, the European Union, the United States, the UK, Russia, Pakistan, China and Uzbekistan, underline the importance to accelerate the peace process. The parties reaffirmed commitment to continue supporting all constructive measures to reach political settlement in Afghanistan.

During the visit to Doha, the Turkmen delegation also holds bilateral meetings.
