Planting of autumn potatoes has been completed in the north of the country. This year, in the Dashoguz velayat, the bulk of the area for the second crop in the year is located in the etrap named after Gurbansoltan-edzhe, which is the largest producer of the "earthen apple" in the region. Large volumes of autumn potatoes will also be grown in the Niyazov etrap and the Gubadag etrap. Due to the high level of work organization, the availability of a sufficient amount of high-quality seed and specialized equipment, an important agrotechnical event was successfully carried out in a short time. Potato growers expect to collect at least 140 centners of tubers from each hectare before the onset of cold weather.
