A ceremonial conference titled “The Turkmen National Heritage and Pride – the Horse” was held at the Lebap Velayat Hyakimlik. The event was organized jointly with public associations and the Velayat Department of Culture in honor of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse.

The event brought together representatives of government bodies, deputies of the Mejlis, and members of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the velayat, as well as respected elders, employees of the equestrian sports complex, specialists in education and healthcare, and student youth.

The invaluable contribution of Turkmen culture to world heritage was emphasized in the participants’ substantive speeches. Particular attention was given to the uniqueness of Akhal-Teke horses, which have no equal in beauty and speed. Speakers stressed that in the era of the Revival of a new epoch of the powerful state, thanks to the tireless care of Hero-Arkadag and the efforts of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the art of horse breeding has gained new life, ensuring the preservation of the purity of the legendary “Nisean horses” breed.

Special attention during the discussion was devoted to promoting horse breeding among the younger generation and enhancing the international prestige of Akhal-Teke horses, which is a priority of state policy. At the conclusion of the official part of the conference, a festive concert was held. In their performances, artists praised the humanistic ideals of the country’s leadership and the rapid development of the homeland in the year titled “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.”
